Privacy

This is a small studio website. It does not track you, it has no advertising, and it sells nothing to anybody. What follows is the whole of it.

There is no analytics and no tracking

No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no cookies for tracking, no third-party fonts or scripts loading from someone else's server. Nothing on this site follows you to another one, and nothing builds a profile of you.

The site stores two things in your own browser, and neither ever leaves it or is readable by us: whether you dismissed the notice bar at the top of a page, and any pieces you have saved with the “Save” button. Clearing your browser data removes both.

What happens when you send a message

If you fill in a form on this site — the contact form, or the newsletter box — we receive what you typed. That is your name, your email address or phone number, your message, and which painting or class you were asking about if you came from one of those pages.

It is used to answer you, and for nothing else. It is not sold, shared, rented, or added to any advertising list.

Who else sees it

Three services are involved in delivering a message, and only in delivering it:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form submissions so a message cannot be lost if email fails.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form was filled in by a person rather than a bot. It is used instead of reCAPTCHA specifically because it does not profile you or track you across sites.
• An email provider passes the message to Jenny's inbox.

Nobody else receives it. There is no mailing-list broker and no CRM.

The newsletter

You are only added if you ask to be — an unticked box, never a pre-ticked one, and never as a side effect of sending a message. We record the date you asked, so that it can be shown that you did. Every message will carry a way to stop receiving them, and you can also just reply and say so. Asking to be removed removes you; it is not a preference we weigh.

How long it is kept

Messages are kept while they are useful — an enquiry about a painting matters until the painting is settled, and a commission thread matters for as long as the work is under way. Ask for yours to be deleted and it will be, along with your address on the newsletter list. No reason is needed.

Children

Youth classes are booked by a parent or guardian, and the details we hold are theirs, not the child's. This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from one.
