Classes
Welcome to my art class schedule. I hope you find time to come and join an art class, whether in your community, in my studio or at Lovers Key State Park. All materials are included, every class finishes a painting you take home, and no experience is needed — most people arrive having never painted.
Wissota Art Studio · 13309 Lazzaro Ct, Estero, FL 33928. Jenny-run classes begin with a registration request. Jenny approves every request before a seat is held or payment instructions are sent; check, Zelle and Venmo are accepted. Community-managed classes show their own organizer and never use Wissota payment details. To request a full class description and a sample picture, email Jenny. Coastal Pumpkins
Choose a traditional or coastal design of your choice for this vinyl pumpkin painting class. Lots of patterns and templates are provided, or bring your own idea or inspiration and Jenny will help you turn it into a design for your pumpkin. You’re welcome to bring a vinyl pumpkin of any size, available at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, to paint with your chosen design. At the end of class, add a little glitz by bejeweling the top of the stem with the provided beads and rhinestones. All other supplies are provided.

The Fine Art of Miniature Painting on Shells Ornament Class
Each student will paint at least four shells, including one sand dollar, with a choice of miniature scenes featuring palm trees, seahorses, mermaids, colorful fish, shore birds, a snowman and other designs. Designs can be as intricate or as simple as each student prefers. Images will be pre-drawn on the shells for students to paint, or a special design can be drawn in class. Students can even personalize the back with a name, saying or date, then add a little glitz with a painted gold border or jewels. Every ornament will have a hanging cord already attached, ready to be displayed.

Coy Koi Togetherness
Paint Coy Koi Togetherness in acrylic on an 11″ × 14″ canvas. All supplies are included. Confirmation details are sent upon prepaid registration.

Hand-Painted Shell Trinket Dish
Choose any design for your hand-painted shell trinket dish. All materials are supplied, including a metal stand and Quahog shell. Prepaid registration.

Roseate Spoonbill on Oyster Shell
Create a 5″ × 7″ framed Roseate Spoonbill on Oyster Shell. Students paint an atmospheric background that continues across the frame, then paint a roseate spoonbill on a Florida oyster shell, incorporating it into the background. All supplies and templates are included. A confirmation email is sent upon receipt of the prepaid registration fee.

Painting on Glassware
Two pieces of stemware to paint and all other supplies are included in the prepaid fee.
No dates are on the calendar right now.
Classes run in small groups and most of the calendar is booked privately, so dates go up as they are set. Call or text 715.590.3445 to be told when the next one opens, or to arrange a private session for your own group on a date that suits you.

Creative afternoons at Wissota Art Studio
Youth Art Classes
Ages 4–7 and ages 9 and older
A great afternoon of art for two youth classes. The 4–7-year-olds used their creativity to paint caterpillars, complete with antennae. I rolled in a bit of science as we talked about where the Poinciana seed pods came from. Aren’t they the cutest?
The group for ages 9 and older had a lesson on Monet and Impressionism, then created their own expressive takes on Water Lilies. Beautifully done!
I’m focused on the class, so I don’t take many photos—and I’m not always great at it when I do. If you’re interested in having your child join these creative classes, please send me a message.

Program details and schedule
Youth Group Art Classes
In class we explore color, composition, art vocabulary, application techniques and a variety of mediums. Everything except each student’s sketchbook is included in the class fee.
Ages 9 and older
Sundays · 3:30–5:30 pm
$40 per student, per class
Please commit to every session. Some projects continue across two classes, so consistent attendance matters.

Attendance and projects
Classes begin and end promptly. If your student will be absent, please let me know so I can plan for projects that continue into the next session.
Students in the ages 9-and-older group may not bring home a project every week because some projects take two sessions to complete.
What to bring
Each student should bring a hard-bound or spiral sketchbook to every class. One purchased at Michaels will last a long time. All other supplies are included.
Payment and cancellations
Payment is due before the day of class. Pay by Venmo to Jenny-Licht-2.
No fee is due when a youth class is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. With less than 24 hours’ notice, the class fee is due.

Studio class Adult
Private session for you and your friends
I'm always happy to host and teach a painting class in my studio or a location of your choice — a birthday, a bridal painting party, another special life event, or a girls' night out for sip and paint. There are no extra fees. Held in the studio, you are welcome to bring in food and beverages, including alcohol: you provide the goodies and I provide the dishes, glassware, utensils and napkins. Morning, afternoon and evening times are available, including weekends.
